Virginia to Anthony and Ettie Tolliver Byrd and passed away February 10, 2012 in Stigler,Oklahoma at the age of 89.
He is survived by;
Wife, Geraldine Byrd of the home
Two Sons: Randy Byrd and wife, Anita, of Lequire, Oklahoma
Larry Byrd and wife, Sandra, of Stigler, Oklahoma
One Sister: Ann Wood of Beaver, West Virginia
Seven Grandchildren
Eight Great Grandchildren
One Great Great Grandchildren
Elva was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Ettie Byrd; wife, Madeline
Virginia Byrd; three sisters and three brothers. He was a retired coal miner.

I am Buster @ Cleo's dau. Grace I am so sorry for your family with the loss of your dad. I know this is a hard time for you to go through. My mom passed this last Aug. It is so hard to take care of them and watch them go down. Deepest Sympathy to all of
your family.

I used Elvie as an example this morning as I closed my sermon. He was one of the few who would go on his own to teach others the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We shared many good years with Elvie. As I told Geraldine, we have had good times and bad. The good
far exceeded the bad. Elvie was our brother in Christ and for that we are very grateful. May God help all of the family as they look to Him for comfort! In Christian Love, Keith & Diane Bellamy
