Lorene Rushing was born September 12, 1931 in Antlers, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jim Langley and Nettie Moore Langley. She married Billy Joe Rushing on June 26, 1971 in Bowie, Texas. He preceded her in death on November 16, 2009 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 80 years, 8 months and 27 days.
