Herbert "Hub" Reed of Keota, Oklahoma passed away September 5, 2010 in Vian, Oklahoma at the age of 81. He was born June 12, 1929 in Ocheleta, Oklahoma to George Reed and Safronia (Shattlesworth) Reed.
He is survived by;
His Wife: Patsy of the home

Three daughters:
Linda Slabaugh of Wright City, Oklahoma
Rita Kay Tripp and husband, Chuck, of Muir, Michigan
Debbie Medicinebird of Keota
Two sons:
Robert Reed and wife, Vickie, of Keota
Ronnie Reed and wife, Krisiti, of Keota
One sister: Eva Hood of Arlington, Texas
One brother: Carlos Reed of Tulsa
Ten grandchildren: Corrie Bayonne, Kerry Slabaugh, Kevin Slabaugh, Shiobahn Tripp, Sydney Tripp, Summer Medicinebird, Chris Terry, Sammy Jo Blankenship, Queston Reed, Piper Reed
Six great grandchildren:
Makayla Bayonne, Gabe Bayonne, Damon Slabaugh, Alexis Slabaugh, Olivia Tripp, and Spencer Tripp
Hub was preceded in death by his parents, George and Safronia Reed; one daughter, Connie Salley; three sisters, Katy Larson, Wanda Jo Todd, and Sylvia Riddle; one brother, Robert Reed; and one half sister, Morene Ritz.

Dear Rita and Family,

Dear Mrs Reed & kids,
So sorry to hear about the passing of Mr Reed. I remember him as such a quiet nice man when yall lived in Texas many years ago. I know you will miss him dearly. You were lucky to have him in your lives for so long. I send you all my heartfelt sorrow and hugs.
