Linda and I regret that we are unable to be present with you today. Our hearts ache, but we are confident that heaven rejoices. Another soldier has fought life’s final battle and today stands face to face with the King of Kings! Spencer Jones was a highly
respected preacher among us for many years. Only eternity will reveal the impact that his presence made on this world. He served the Assemblies of God as a credentialed minister for over 60 years and received recognition as an Ordained Minister of the Gospel
by the General Council of the Assemblies of God in October 3, 1968. Brother Jones was a servant and a blessing to our Fellowship. He inspired others to pick up the cross and follow after our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you, Jones family for sharing
your lives and specifically the man whom we honor today, with us. He marked a path that if we follow will guide us to the land of promise where he awaits our arrival. On behalf of the Oklahoma District Council and the General Council of the Assemblies of God,
we salute the life and the legacy of Reverend Spencer M. Jones. Frank and Linda Cargill Oklahoma District Superintendent
